Welcome to Mystic Pita!

PLEASE JOIN ME ON THIS GOD QUEST.

This site is for fellow God seekers. To share your inspirations and insights go to the Mystic Pita discussion on Facebook. In this place, we speak from love, for Love, no matter the God-seeking faith. Christians will recall, at a desert well, Jesus showed his love to the non-Jewish Samaritan outcast woman explaining our common calling: "The woman said to him, ‘Sir, I see that you are a prophet. Our ancestors worshipped on this mountain, but you say that the place where people must worship is in Jerusalem.’ Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such as these to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.’--John (Chapter 4, v 19-24)

My inspirations have recently come to fruition in my March 2014 book, "Touching God: A Journey, a Guide to Mysticism in Christianity and Islam." I've been inspired by Christian and Muslim mystics.

This course is designed to not only create an awareness of the Holocaust and how it has affected our world today, but to initiate discussion on searching for meaning, spirituality and hope after the Holocaust.  The Holocaust challenges basic faith principles.  By studying it in depth together, we can begin to comprehend its magnitude and power over future generations.
